Appointments remain available for the next COVID-19 immunization clinic, which will take place from Monday, Dec. 21 to Wednesday, Dec. 23. Eligible health care workers can continue to call over the weekend to book their space.


A total of 900 immunization appointments were made available this morning. To date, 420 appointments have been made and spaces remain available. The phone line is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily until all available appointments are booked.


Individuals who are eligible for immunization are health care workers whose work involves direct contact with patients and who also meet one of these other criteria:

• work in critical care units, born on or before Dec. 31, 1970;

• work in acute care facilities, born on or before Dec. 31, 1960;

• work in long term care facilities, born on or before Dec. 31, 1960; or

• be assigned to COVID-19 immunization clinics.
